Preparation
Step 1
Grease and flour a jelly roll pan (10 x 15 x 1).
Step 2
Prepare the cake mix as directed on the package and pour into the pan.
Step 3
Mix the cream cheese, egg, and sugar together, then drop by tablespoonfuls into the pan.
Step 4
Cut through the batter with a knife to marble the cream cheese into the cake mix.
Step 5
Sprinkle the milk chocolate chips and nuts on top.
Step 6
Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350°F.
Step 7
For the frosting: Combine the brown sugar, white sugar, milk, and butter in a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil.
Step 8
Remove from heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Step 9
Beat until the chocolate has melted.
Step 10
Cool the frosting slightly, then pour over the top of the brownies when the cake has cooled.
